About the Contest

Reaffirming our commitment to quality education, Viva Education launches a unique programme to bring together the best ideas on the noble profession of a teacher. To celebrate Teacher’s Day, we are holding an essay-writing competition for school teachers in which they will share the toughest challenges and best rewards of being a teacher and also outline their vision on the future of teaching. Attractive prizes will be given to the best essays. (Refer to the prizes section on this page.) 200 winning entries will be collected and published as a book and circulated among schools across the country. Our judges include some of the foremost thinkers on education in India.

How to participate in the contest?

TOPIC: “Teachers on Teaching – Innovative Practices, Application and Impact”

LENGTH: Minimum 750 words; maximum 2000 words

ELIGIBILITY: Any teacher currently teaching in a school anywhere in India
