HOW TO ENTER:

You may enter the Contest beginning at 00:00:00 a.m. (IST) on 11th November 2014 and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. (IST) on 11th November 2014 (the "Contest Period"). To enter and win, you must: (1) Make a purchase through the Amazon.in App during the Contest Period to be automatically enrolled into a random draw of lots. 

(2) Amongst the eligible participants, 11 participants will be selected by the random draw of lots to be eligible to answer the qualifying question which will enable each such participant to win Amazon.in e-Gift Cards (issued by QwikCilver Solutions Private Limited and to be used in accordance with the Amazon.in e-Gift Card terms and conditions), of a total value of INR 1, 21, 000, as detailed in the 'Prizes' section below.

(3) The participants selected through the random draw of lots will be required to answer a qualifying question correctly within a time period which would be communicated to the selected participants by Amazon, in order to be declared winners of the Contest.

(4) If the selected participant does not respond back within the given time period, or answers incorrectly, he/she shall not be eligible to be declared winner. Selected participants will also be required to prove their age, failing which they will be disqualified from the Contest. In such cases, another participant will be selected by a random draw of lots who will further be required to answer the qualifying question correctly within a time period which would be communicated to the selected participant by Amazon, in order to be declared winner of the Contest.

By entering the Contest, you consent to being placed on a mailing list for promotional and other materials for Amazon.in/Amazon Seller Services Private Limited ("ASSPL"). You may update or change your email preferences at the email preferences page.

OTHER PROMOTIONS:

Please note that we may be running similar contests at the same time as this Contest. By entering this Contest, you will not be eligible to receive any prize awarded in any other contest unless you enter each contest separately.

PRIZES:

Each person declared as a winner of this Contest will be given 2 Amazon.in e-Gift Cards, 1 of a value of INR 10, 000 and 1 of a value of INR 1, 000 (collectively, "Prize(s)"), every month for a period of 11 months commencing from January 5, 2015 as per the Prize Distribution Schedule below. There are a total of 11 Prizes that will be given to each winner as part of the Contest. The validity of each of the Amazon.in e-Gift Cards/ Prizes will commence from the Prize Distribution Date of each such Amazon.in e-Gift Card/ Prize, as mentioned under the Prize Distribution Schedule below. These Official Rules are in addition to the terms and conditions applicable for the Amazon.in e-Gift Card/Prize as published on http://www.amazon.in/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201522810. To the extent the Amazon.in e-Gift Card Terms are inconsistent with these Official Rules; these Official Rules shall prevail with respect to the Contest only.

PRIZE DRAWING

All eligible participants that are selected by random draw of lots and answer the Contest question correctly will be eligible to win the Prize offered under this Contest. The drawing will be aggregated on 14th November, 2014 and our decision on the winning entries shall be final and binding. We will notify each selected participant by e-mail following the drawing and he/she will be required to share a valid proof of identity and age in the form of a copy of PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Indian passport. A PAN card copy is mandatory for prizes worth more than Rs.10,000. The selected participants will automatically forfeit their claim to the Prize if they do not answer the question within 72 hours of notification, answer incorrectly or do not meet the eligibility criteria. Each Prize will be awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part. However, in circumstances beyond our control, we may substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value in our sole discretion.

ODDS OF WINNING:

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Eligible entries are ones that satisfy the eligibility criteria outlined above and follow the steps outlined in the ‘how to enter’ section.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

We will notify the winners of the Contest by way of an email on or before November 30, 2014.
