To ripen these fruits faster, put them in a paper bag with a banana. They’ll ripen in 24 hours! This is because bananas release small amounts of ethylene, which is a ripening agent. Wash & dry them well. Cut off the roots, if any. Layer an airtight container with paper napkins. Place a layer of greens . Add another napkin layer and repeat. Ideally, no moisture should be retained. Store in the fridge Wash & dry them well. Break off the stems and store them in an airtight box in the fridge. Keep the ripe (reddish) ones separately and use them first Once you take tomatoes out of the fridge, let them come to room temperature before cooking. They will taste much better. Keep them in a cool, dark place, away from each other. This is because gases escaping from onions can make potatoes sprout faster. These don’t need to be refrigerated.
